Lynsay Bensman, P.E. Group Leader, Threat Evaluation/Internal Corrosion

Lynsay Bensman, P.E. is group leader of Threat Evaluation/Internal Corrosion for DNV Columbus. Ms. Bensman has been involved in numerous direct assessment projects. She has developed and integrated direct assessment procedures (ECDA, ICDA, SCCDA, and CDA) into company integrity management plans (IMPs). She has performed internal corrosion threat assessments for clients to determine the need for an internal corrosion integrity assessment. She has also developed procedures for alternative internal corrosion integrity assessment methods. Ms. Bensman has worked with several clients implementing the four steps of the ICDA process, which involves pipeline operation and maintenance data collection, feasibility assessment, flow modeling, line profiling, and ICDA site selection. She also has experience identifying acceptable ICDA detailed examination methods.
